Charles de Boccard Art Advisory was founded in 2023 by Charles de Boccard and provides a wide range of personalized services related to Contemporary and Modern Art.

We help private collectors build and manage their art collection. We work with a worldwide network of art galleries, collectors, dealers and auction house to build a collection that resonates with our client’s personal, financial and aesthetic values.

We work with both emerging and established artists.

Bio

Charles de Boccard holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from HEC Lausanne in Switzerland, as well as a Master's degree in Global Strategic Management from ESADE in Spain and a Master's degree in Global Commerce from the University of Virginia in the USA.

Charles began his career as a Business Analyst at Paddle8, an online auction house based in London. He then worked for a private art consultant specializing in post-war and contemporary art before joining Bonhams as a Business Analyst, where he focused on the company's digital transformation.

In 2019, Charles returned to Switzerland to become the Director of the Fabienne Levy gallery in Lausanne, where he served until 2022. This position allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the art market and develop a wide network of contacts in the industry.

Drawing on his extensive experience and expertise, Charles decided to launch his own art advisory firm in 2023. He provides personalized advice to clients on building their art collections, drawing on his in-depth knowledge of the art market.

In addition to his professional work, Charles is an avid collector of contemporary art and design, which gives him a unique perspective on the art world and allows him to better understand his clients' needs and preferences.
